This new typeface is inspired by a place located in the north of the Netherlands called Zwarte Haan. It’s a small community located next to the Waddensea and it’s inspirational in a lot of ways.
The empty landscapes, rough nature and architectural lines inspired the base of this new typeface. The result is heavy yet elegant and therefor honouring the free spirit and unconventional vibe of this characteristic place on the Frisian map.
It’s a place close to our heart and will always be an important source of inspiration.
